His stuff actually does make me laugh to be honest, although in the back of my mind I know he isn't that good. His voice acting is pretty good which is pretty much all I can say about him. I'm not sure what's more lame, the people defending Awesome or the people saying they agree yet have Ego on their favorite author's list anyway.

Looks like I'm not the only one who has thought about subjecting Ego to insult satire. I have one awesome parody in production.

Let me help you write the script (I want to get 75% of the share then though) and you can say I helped voice acting even though I didn't.

I'd include some jokes like sonic CHARGING HIS CHAOS EMERALD LAZ0RZ and then a long brown cat coming out of Ravi's anus going right into Violet's mouth while Violet is saying 'HMMM 2FREETOWNIES 1CUP" and swallows it at the same time (you get someone to voice act violet and just say it's me. You know how famous I am around here, would get you couple of million extra views).

Then you include the voices of NG admins in there, like Swain did with Masterminds 3. The animation doesn't matter, people could watch that shit with their eyes closed. I mean newgrounds isn't a website based on animation or anything, it's based on humor that you understand while your eyes are closed. That's the real deal.

Back to the script though, it should have a lot of popular anime references, too. Nicole, Deathnote you know the deal. That way you can ensure that EVERYONE will like it. If there's some ass who's talking shit about that cartoon (like Gerkinman) then it's only because he's sad that he didn't come up with the idea first, so you simply dedicate a cartoon to him and he will be happy again.

Be sure to get ALL of your submissions sponsored by newgrounds, they give good money and that's pretty much everything that counts. You might have to wait a month or 2, they don't have enough ram yet to use paypal. They've got the same problem with a recent collab I heard.

Also, you should throw in some sprites into your new movie, that's a MUST.

Actually Extremism I never said anything about supporting either artist, I think rtil is very talented and so is egorapter (albeit in VERY different ways). I remembered that blog post by rtil but I forgot about it, nice for bringing it up. It is depressing nowadays since the Egoraptor phase is still traveling by. And for someone like rtil, who was nominated for movie of the year for 2007, to decide to go 'Awesome' (which the novelty will wear off eventually on the Ego style, especially with all the non-ego submissions), it breaks my NG heart. Either that, or just a random joke that rtil is playing on us. It seems like Awesome Awesome at this point in rtil's post. Then scratch what I just said. Pull something new out of the animation hat! There are still some good, original artists around like SamBakZa (There She Is), JAZZA (:the Composer:), The-Swain and Stamper (they make cock jokes more original than the rest of NG, and Blockhead was an interesting concept, still that random humor but actually good graphics), Get-lost AKA Oscar Johansson (Castle, in which the latest one he's working on I'm so freaking pumped about), and I could go on and on (there is a limit though, most are turned Ego). Whether this is a joke, or for real, you should know that in the long haul, originality that has been so common with your animations (don't see too many sprite music videos or parkourish type submissions do you) will prevail over spoofs.

However, that said, I think this is taking it a bit too far. Everyone knows you hate this crap. I'm starting to get agitated that this is all that seems to be coming out of your mouth lately. And if not, it's masking what IS coming out of your mouth, through your own fault.
Welcome to the Internet, where original talent is seldom recognized, and authors of said talent are never credited. There's not a whole lot you can do about it. I'm sure no one considers the Awesome series a staple of animation, and if they do, they surely don't care about what really matters in animation. Are these the people you should be screaming at? They won't listen. Everyone who cares already knows. I'm starting to get annoyed at the Awesome series, too, but I just ignore it, because you can't tell people what to do in their free time. Things like that are good for a laugh, but are not to be considered anything substantial, which seems to be what you're not getting. People like them because they are an amusing diversion that doesn't take much effort to create nor watch. I think if you took the energy with which you put down things like that and used it to promote what you hold dear, you'd actually get places.

But, you know, do as you will. Just know that I'm among those awaiting another Freetown. There are people that actually recognize your and others talents, but many are turned off by stuff like this. It's not a good image.

I gotta say, rtil, that a long time ago I was a huge fan of yours for Metropolis Circuit and the idea of Project Freetown. I really wish you didn't abandon that story, because in Metropolis Circuit you have explanations for the different areas of the world of Freetown, or maybe you didn't abandon it and just put it on hold, I don't know. Also I do agree with you over the video game parodies, even though I animated about half the episodes of Bowser's Kingdom, and did a small amount of work in the Smash Kingdom episodes. I am sick of doing parodies, and keep making up my own stories, start working on them and end up getting preoccupied with something, like an actual job or whatever. But anyway, I'll make my point... You have to get over yourself with this continuous hate for parodies! Maybe you're changing someone's mind about the subject, but come on man, keep working on your stuff because that's what I want to see from you. i feel the need to say- Egoraptor is an amazing voice actor, and the MGA series has really improved. His animation in Awesome Gaiden was brilliant, and i respect that he is putting more effort into the art and animation.
