That’s crazy. I’ve seen far more disturbing takes of younger Yoko on that site (usually involving absurd weight gain, of course), but drawing her at a normal, healthy weight with the clothes she wore when she was younger was somehow too disturbing for the DA staff? And apparently, all bets are still off with porn of the explicitly-14 Rei and Asuka?
I already hate DeviantArt simply because its UI is painful to navigate, there’s no point in them making me even less likely to ever consider this dated relic from the early Internet by pulling stunts like this. It’s not like they’re YouTube in that they have no real competition and can get away with the hypocrisy as a result. It is funny to watch their decline, though.
their "modern" re-design is one of the worst ever. and it is all just for show because their tools to upload art haven't changed since like 2005 and it shows

Well it's DeviantArts lost then! I mean come on I've worn some shirts since middle school (mind you those were large and X-tra large shirts that I've long since grown into). People keep and wear old stuff all the time, what am I suppose to do, follow fashion trends and throw out perfectly good stuff on a moments notice. Yeah right!

God I didn't know that place was such a shithole. the fact they have enough weebs on the staff to know that is probably the worst part, because it's them approving all this weird shit too. you could draw a completely flat chested character and they wouldn't care, but because of the clothing, it's a Permaban. that is the dumbest shit out there. So you can draw Megumin, but get banned if you put clothes on her. Absolutely genius 1000 IQ move.
