I remembered that blog post by rtil but I forgot about it, nice for bringing it up. It is depressing nowadays since the Egoraptor phase is still traveling by. And for someone like rtil, who was nominated for movie of the year for 2007, to decide to go 'Awesome' (which the novelty will wear off eventually on the Ego style, especially with all the non-ego submissions), it breaks my NG heart. Either that, or just a random joke that rtil is playing on us. It seems like Awesome Awesome at this point in rtil's post. Then scratch what I just said. Pull something new out of the animation hat! There are still some good, original artists around like SamBakZa (There She Is), JAZZA (:the Composer:), The-Swain and Stamper (they make cock jokes more original than the rest of NG, and Blockhead was an interesting concept, still that random humor but actually good graphics), Get-lost AKA Oscar Johansson (Castle, in which the latest one he's working on I'm so freaking pumped about), and I could go on and on (there is a limit though, most are turned Ego). Whether this is a joke, or for real, you should know that in the long haul, originality that has been so common with your animations (don't see too many sprite music videos or parkourish type submissions do you) will prevail over spoofs.
