Since the probability of me actually going to see this beautiful work of flash is nil, mind giving the premise of this "Lighthouse Girl"? (besides the fact that there is a girl and a lighthouse)
there's not much to say really, it's a very simple story that follows a day in the life of a girl and her friend on an island
I will for sure see this! The screenshots and everything else looked awesome, the actual animation will be even more awesome. I applaud you, sir, for making such an excellent animation.

i don't ever really leave a site unless i'm banned from it, but nowadays i only come here if i want to write someting or have a submission. but now that i work mostly in video for final formats that might not be the case anymore either

The reason why you post here is because you actually do care. You care and you try to hide it by insulting this website and your fans, but the real reason you come here is because of the publicity you crave. You come here because you're barely recognized anywhere else. You weren't known anywhere before you came to this site. If you ACTUALLY hated this site, you would've deleted your account and left along time ago. Stop being such an egotistical ungrateful asshole and say "Thank you Newgrounds, you are the reason why my short was shown at this festival. You are the reason why my name got out there."
Whether or not you sell merchandise and sell yourself out is up to you and is ONLY up to you. Appreciate the publicity and especially your FANS, because you damn well fucking deserve it for your hard work.

You hate newgrounds because of all the BS that gets through the portal on a daily basis right? And because of the infinite collabs that are a waste of time to make/watch/care about. The trash that seems to fall through the coarse filter of our voting populous? The shit-load of mario sprites that are reviewed as good because of their close resemblance of most animae movies and shows? I agree 100% But you gotta think, the same people who like that, odds are they wont like your stuff. Theres a difference to pixel animation and well drawn, detailed animations made by people such as yourself. So please, next time be sure to really think about what you say and who you say it to. Do these people like your stuff? I bet, because they took the time to read your post, veiw your art, come back and share their thoughts. They are your fanbase, don't give up on them because they come from a place filled to the brim with people who dont appreciate what you do. We like your stuff. That's why we give you our 2 cents.
