i love your art of people iam taking appiled art and got double A last year but. I would love to be able to animate people but no one in collage (teachers) doesnt no how to animate so, for the past 2 years i have been trying to teach my self but mainly want to do charater desgin and to be able to. Animate people because I have so many ideas but i just cant do them any infomation that could get me started e.g life drawing may be a good start but any thing to help me would be great =D.

life drawing, yes, and study anatomy. once you know how the human bodies' kinetics and physics of motion works, you will be unstoppable. and of course, picking up something like Richard William's "The Animator's Survival Kit" would REALLY help your animation skills. I spent 6 months with it and i wouldn't trade what i learned from that for anything.
when's the next freetown coming out? i'm metropolis circuit's biggest fan!

I have got the book =) lol alot of pages and iam going to have to have a long hard look at it. did you read from the start to the end or straight to the animation? because its really rare i read and books like that just scare me a little =(
i have not read the whole book, no. but i mostly read the stuff about the animation. however, there hasn't been a thing in the book i didn't find interesting or helpful. glad you took the initiative to purchase it! you won't regret it

I didn't read any of that but you seem to know what you're talking about. I read your comments on Egoraptor's previous blog and I have to agree. All he does is throw in curse words with poor animation and video games and suddenly it's an amazing flash. He hasn't done anything worth watching sense "Metal Gear Awesome" yet his massive fanbase still gives him the highest possible score. He has skills and could make great flashes if he put effort into them, but instead he relies on his fans to give him a 5 for doing absolutely nothing.
pretty much hit the nail on the head. just goes to show it's ridiculously easy to amuse most of NG's userbase.
Well thanks for agreeing with me, I did a review on his latest flash and 8 people marked it offensive because I gave it 4/10 even though I typed out my opinions and used no offensive content. Wow, fanboys have given this guy a lot of credit. I'll just ignore his poor over hyped work from now on, instead I'll be watching artist like yourself. Artist who actually work hard on there flashes, good to know there still wise people on Newgrounds.
Reviews that aren't showers of praise will almost always eventually get deleted. Funny how you can post almost any cartoon you want, but you're not allowed to say what you think about it if it's critical.
Newgrounds seems to only like kiss ass reviews. I've seen someone post "OMFG TAT WAS DA BEST EVAR" then another person post "OMFG TAT WAS DA WORST EVAR" See the difference? The second one got deleted only because he said it was bad, the first one was kept because it was kissing Tom Fulp's ass. They had barely any difference yet because Newgrounds hates it when someone's opinion is different they deleted. My review listed why I didn't like it, had no offensive text, and took me five minutes to write yet it's on the verge of being deleted because I didn't give it a perfect score. So which ass cheek do I kiss? The left or the right?

Just read your review for Legendary Frog's world of warcraft parody; I ended up clapping for about thirteen minutes, so true. My god, that has to be the best review/rant I have ever seen. The bad thing is people still seem to enjoy that waste of space and Legendary Frog seems to not even take a look at his reviews because he knows he can make the same crap over and over again without penalty.

leaving certainly won't help this site get any better. i appreciate what newgrounds offers to the flash community. if it wasn't for newgrounds, no one would see my cartoons and i would have never met you or anyone at the star syndicate, much less would it have ever existed. yes there is a lot of crap stuff here, but where isn't there crap?
